Research Scientist, Perception
Design and implement perception pipelines that fuse data from LiDAR, cameras, and radar to build real-time 3D understanding of industrial environments.
What you'll do
- Develop novel 3D object detection and segmentation models for heavy-industry scenes
- Optimize inference latency for edge deployment on embedded GPU platforms
- Collaborate with sensor hardware teams to co-design perception-aware data capture
- Publish findings at top-tier venues (CVPR, ECCV, RSS)
What we look for
- PhD in computer vision, robotics, or related field
- Strong publication record in 3D perception or sensor fusion
- Proficiency in Python and C++; experience with PyTorch or JAX
- Hands-on experience with real sensor data (LiDAR, stereo, IMU)
