Research Engineer, Optimization
Translate cutting-edge optimization research into production-grade solvers that run on constrained hardware in the field.
What you'll do
- Implement and benchmark convex and non-convex solvers for motion planning and control
- Profile and optimize solver performance for real-time constraints
- Bridge the gap between research prototypes and deployed systems
- Maintain solver libraries and contribute to internal tooling
What we look for
- MSc or PhD in optimization, controls, or applied math
- Strong C++ skills; experience with Eigen, OSQP, or CasADi
- Understanding of numerical methods and linear algebra
- Ability to read and implement methods from academic papers
